Notice Period Recommendations

Freelance (Day rate) briefs

There is no agreed notice period and as such no formal notice needs to be given or worked, however good practice is to give at least 24hrs notice. For any last minute cancellations please contact the Genie team directly as this will incur a 20% late notice fee to the talent on bookings of 5 days or less.

Fixed Term Contract briefs

The notice period is to be agreed between client and talent directly at the start of the booking. This should be stated in a contract, provided by the client.

Permanent briefs

The notice period is to be agreed between client and talent directly at the start of the role. This should be stated in a contract, provided by the client.
